The gap between marketing and sales may be closing, but the gender gap persists. According to research from Korn Ferry, women only hold 25% of all C-suite roles.
But supply chain cloud provider JDA Software is doing what it can to inspire and uplift women in STEM. In 2017, the company launched a “Wednesdays for Women” blog series. The weekly series is designed to highlight the role of women in the supply chain and technology world and showcase the women who work at JDA, serve as executives among JDA customers and more.
Since launching in July, the series has amassed more than 14,000 page views and 135 comments. It also won a Killer Content Award at the 2019 B2B Marketing Exchange.
During a live Q&A on July 24 at 2 PM ET, Beth Elkin, Group VP of Marketing at JDA, will share the story behind the series, as well as three of her favorite “Wednesdays for Women” blog posts.
Elkin will also share:
- The value and role of cause marketing in B2B today;
- How cause marketing is good for both empowering a company’s employees and attracting prospective customers; and
- Advice for other B2B marketers looking to up their marketing efforts in 2019 and leverage their power and reach to further worthy causes.
