What is your PERSONAL new year’s resolution for 2024?
Get in-shape, stay in-shape: Train for a century ride (100 miles)
In 2023 I set a goal to train for open-water swimming, and swam from Alcatraz island to San Francisco. In 2024 I’m giving my self a goal to get into cycling shape, to ride 100 miles around Lake Tahoe…. and to stay in shape after that!
What is your PROFESSIONAL new year’s resolution for 2024?
Build the business: Evangelize importance of Product/Market Fit
I’m growing my consulting/advisory business, and am resolving to shift from selling other people’s goods to selling myself. Within that, is a passion that marketers fundamentally need to focus on achieving/maintaining product/market fit before they undertake any other actions.

What is your PERSONAL new year’s resolution for 2024?
I fell in love with Italy almost 20 years ago during a college backpacking trip and it has had my heart ever since. I’ve been back as many times as my bank account will allow over the years and going again this spring, but this time I’m determined to be conversational in Italian. I’m working with an Italian tutor, scoring all the gems on Duolingo and can’t wait to go back with a few language skills packed this time.
What is your PROFESSIONAL new year’s resolution for 2024?
This is the year where I am disciplined about calendar management. I’ve encouraged my entire team to “Marie Kondo” their calendars as we head into the new year and I plan to do the same. Our company is growing so quickly that sometimes meetings that served a purpose a few months ago no longer hold as much value and I’m determined to be more intentional about what meetings we hold, their length and also rigorous preparation to be sure the time is well spent.

Block off 3 hours on my calendar every morning for focused work time when I have the most energy, and push my meetings later in the day.
